Menjangan

Located in the north-west of Bali, Menjangan Island is part of the Western Balinese National Park. Due to the considerable distance (4 hours drive from Sanur), most trips organized by us take place with one night. Diving on Menjangan can be combined with visiting the western part of Bali and with an overnight stay in Pemuteran. For people who are not afraid of an 8-hour car journey (there and back) we organize one-day trips without accommodation. This price offer is for just such an option.

After reaching the marina located near the town of Gilimanuk we change to a wooden motor boat that will take us to the island of Menjangan. There are several dive sites around the island. They all have the character of vertical walls descending from the surface to a depth of 60m+.

A great wealth of soft and hard corals awaits us there, especially the forest of huge Sea Fans (Gorgonia) growing on the vertical walls of Menjangan. Shoals of coral fish, sea turtles, reef sharks should accompany us on almost every dive. An additional attraction is a Hindu temple built on the slopes of the island with a huge figure of the god Ganesha carved in white stone. An interesting fact is that Menjangan Island is inhabited by Deer, who are not afraid of people. These friendly animals can often be found lounging on the beach or wading in sea water.
