DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
Beginners intro
Discover Scuba Diving abbreviated as DSD is a one-day program designed for people who have never dived before (or do not have certificates) and are not sure whether they want to participate in a full course ending with a license. However, it will be an excellent introduction to our future dives. The program starts with about 40 minutes of theoretical training, after which we conduct the first dive in a pool or open water with similar conditions (shallow depth, no currents, waves, boat traffic). During this dive, we perform a few simple exercises and learn to breathe using a regulator.
The second dive is performed in the so-called open water, i.e. where people who already have a diver’s license dive. Immersion takes place with the assistance of an instructor, lasts about 30 minutes, and the maximum diving depth does not exceed 12 meters.
After completing the DSD, no certificate is issued, however, you can continue the training to obtain the OWD license by paying only the difference in price.
The DSD program is a full-day trip that begins with picking up the student from the hotel. Upon arrival at our base, we will try on the equipment and complete the formalities. Then we go to the place where we will dive. Due to the required favorable conditions for beginners, the DSD program is carried out only in Tulamben, Amed or Padang Bai. You will be returned to your hotel in the late afternoon.
